The National team of Ghana, the Black Stars, played yesterday in their World Cup 2026 qualifier against Madagascar. They won with 1-0.

Two former WAFA graduates played an important role in this match. Gideon Mensah (Auxerre) gave the assist and Majeed Ashimeru (Anderlecht) came of the bench, changed the game and became man of the match!
