We are very sad to announce the decease of Coach Jeffrey Oost.

Coach Jeffrey has worked for the Feyenoord Fetteh Academy - the forerunner of WAFA - for two years from 2005 to 2007. Jeffrey did this with dedication and with a lot of faith in the talent of our players. Jeff was highly involved, always positive and a true professional. He meant a lot to the academy, and we thank him for everything he has done. Jeff was a friend of the West African Football Academy and the best ambassador we could have ever wished for!

Jeffrey has worked at Feyenoord Rotterdam N.V. for 32 years. After his retirement, he remained a part of the academy as an assistant coach until his death.

We wish his family strength in the days to come.

Jeffrey, may you rest in peace.
