Ghanaian youngster Forson Amankwah has signed a contract extension with Austrian giants Red Bull Salzburg following his impressive start to the ongoing season.The 20-year-old, who initially joined Red Bull Salzburg from Ghanaian side WAFA in 2021 with a contract until 2025, has extended his stay for an additional two years, binding him to the Red Bull Arena until 2027.Amankwah spent his first two years on loan, featuring for clubs like Liefering and Rheindorf Altach. His excellent performances earned him a return to his parent club.Since his return to Red Bull Salzburg, Amankwah has made a strong impact this season, contributing to six goals (four goals and two assists) in twelve matches in all competitions.While he has yet to represent any of the Ghana national teams, Amankwah will likely hope for a future call-up to the Black Stars.
