Gideon Mensah, a WAFA graduate, has become champion with AJ Auxerre  in Ligue 2 in France. AJ Auxerre  will therefore return to the level from which they were degraded last year within 1 year. Gideon is the regular left back of Auxerre and has therefore made a major contribution to the promotion despite not being included in a number of matches this year due to participation in the AFCON 2023.

We are very curious what Auxerre will show in the new season in Ligue 1.
